4-PIECE COMBO TOP that seals!

JLU TOP BEGINS

JLU TOP

I'm the luckiest guy around.
Now all I need is a store/shop but prices here are insane, $5000+ every single 30 days with loads of taxes and expenses. It is like a feeding troff waiting for you to start a business. At first I stacked my tools and empty cartons into storage and headed out looking for a store/shop to rent. Then I knew I was wasting time so I rearranged my tools and benches around and started working right there on the spot with no electricity, -20, just a battery pack from Milwaukee. Boy, did it feel good to be working again. No sales but my first step is getting the correct top created out of this dust and scrap, that people actually want. It is easy to design the wrong top and waste months. I think the best choice would be a 4 piece Summer combo that seals. I can make the Summer Combo look cool like a little truck. Now that the hard top is finally off my Jeep I am going insane trying to think of which direction to go. There are millions of JLUs here 10 in every parking lot everywhere and nobody takes their hard top off. At first I thought make a folding full frame top. But after you get that glorious top on the Jeep, and you are in awe of its size and how cool and big it makes your Jeep, 10 minutes later, it is stupid. It gets tossed into the corner because that full framed folding top is useless. Infact, it is counter productive. You want to be topless. That's it. TOPLESSSSSSS. That is the truth. So I make the Summer Combo seal and I put a twist on it to look extra hot with attitude.
If I designed all the top ideas I had and in the end I know I would throw them all in the garbage and keep the frameless minimalist truck top. That is what I just did with my Bronco. (see Bronco Top) So with that said, why go full circle. Maybe I should just do that frameless minimalist truck top right from the start?
