Tim Taylor opened his Jeep soft top store/ businesss 1987 as a teenager, while in University. His customers named him CALIFORNIA TOPS.
Tim is from NEW YORK. He grew up on the Finger Lakes where there were JEEPS around. He got hooked. When he moved to Canada and attended University he bought himself a Jeep CJ5 1981 BLACK LAREDO. He immediately made a top for it and began to sell them. Same as today.
