INNER VOICE

1. Flipping the front roof open is fun but seeing a roll is fun too, which do I make, ...do both in one i.e. FLIP, ROLL or REMOVE.
2. This separation point in the roof is godawful looking - not when you see a roll there or with straight lines.
3. It seems the more I clean up the top, i.e. make it more refined, the less cool it becomes. I like the rough first versions.

My direction seems to be homemade tops. Someone locally (non Jeep guy) asked me in person, "Why are you making Jeep tops, you can buy them for peanuts in any store AND there are so few Jeeps around." I thought for a second, knew it is because I can't find a job, I am not liked everywhere I go, I am a throw away from birth, etc. etc. but I chose to say, "Guys really like my tops, buy them in numbers. They hunt me down every spring.". ...My top is not that refined, not fancy, not framed. It is kinda retarded next to the factory top. One guy skidded his Jeep and leaped out OF IT while it was still rolling and he yelled, freaked out and said, THAT'S AWESOME!!! CAN YOU MAKE ME ONE!?". That is how I got started. The more refined I make it, the less its liked. But it is got to be good, clean, well worked out, not junk.
