Tim Taylor opened his Jeep soft top store/ businesss 1987 while in University as TGTaylor Mfg. Phone call after phone call people asked if this was the place that makes those California Tops. Then he began answering the phone as CALIFORNIA TOPS. He said, keep it to one soft top and we can do a better job and save a fortune in time.
